A young man admitted online that he is finding it difficult to accept the fact that his 19-year-old fiancée has amassed—and is keeping—more than 50 hoodies from other people. The user, who is also 19, said his significant other is the most “wonderful, gorgeous and sweetest girl [he] ever encountered, with great personality to tie it all together.” He said that they live five hours apart and that this is his first time being at her house because he recently moved to her city.

He added, “While looking for my clothes I spotted a part of what I’d guess was probably 50 if not more hoodies, very plainly men’s hoodies all neatly hung in a closed off portion. The closet is sort of vast and confusing (this is to say I wasn’t snooping) I was unsure of what to make of what I was witnessing since it felt so unreal. I wondered things like, “Is she cheating? Maybe she collects them. Who [expletive] needs this many hoodies?”

He stated, “Her justification was that she and her closest friend established a ‘game’ to get as many boys’ sweatshirts as possible this past summer. She said that she never interacted with them and that anything she did was solely for their amusement.

He acknowledged feeling strange and asked his lady if she would be willing to part with her collection. She consented and immediately carried on “as if nothing happened,” the Reddit user claimed. But he couldn’t help but think of all those drawstrings.
It kind of rubs me the wrong way, but I don’t think she had something going on with 50 guys this summer, he continued. “I can’t stop wondering what actually happened and whether she is telling the truth to me.”
She constantly wondering what she did wrong, the man claimed, because he has grown estranged from the athleisure enthusiast. I’m not sure of the answer.
The guy’s pals disagree about whether he should “dump her” or withdraw his demand that she throw away the offensive items.
