Have you seen any of those ridiculous websites online that offer supposedly “free” MP3 ringtones? The problem is that if you take the time to read the fine print, most of these sites will sign you up for some sort of subscription service, for a fee of between $5 and $10 per week! Doesn’t really sound like free, does it? But forget those scam sites – you can easily create your own MP3 ringtones with the songs of your choice. In fact, you’re not just limited to songs; you can use comic bits or even images of you in your friends telling jokes! Your imagination is the only limit.
In this article, we will cover the basic steps to create your own MP3 ringtones. Let’s start now.
1. First, download and install Media coder. Do a simple search on the web and you will find it right away. Installation is simple and provided you have a fast internet connection, the program can be downloaded very quickly. After installing Media coder, open the program and click “add” in the upper left corner. Then find the Youtube to MP3 Converter you want to use and select Enter. The MP3 should now appear in the file list.
Click on “select” at the bottom left of the page.
This will play your MP3 file. You will see two buttons for “mark in” and “mark out” where you want the ringtone to start and stop. When the song reaches the point where you want your ringtones to start, click “Mark”. Similarly, click “mark” when the point is reached where you want the ringing to stop. Once you have set the in and out times, click the “start” button on the main Media coder screen. This will create your ringtone and save it to the same folder as your original MP3. You can also open the ringtone in Media coder to make sure it was saved correctly.
The next step is to download the ringtone online.
Simply complete the form and click ‘download’. Once the download is complete, you will receive a “jump code” which will allow you to download the ringtone to your phone. In a moment, you should receive an SMS with the address where you can download the ringtone file. And that’s all! Congratulations; you have just created your own personal MP3 ringtone and successfully installed it. Once the ringtone is installed on your mobile phone, just set it to whatever you want and you are good to go.
It’s a great way to experiment with lots of different funky ringtones without paying a ridiculous subscription or “per ringtone” fee. And remember, you can make an MP3 ringtone not only from music, but also from other sounds, voices or audio materials you like! You might even want to save some of your favorite one-liners and use them as ringtones. Remember that all audio files that can be converted to MP3 also work as MP3 ringtones.
But forget those scam sites – you can easily create your own MP3 ringtones with the songs of your choice. In fact, you’re not just limited to songs; you can use comic bits or even images of you in your friends telling jokes! Your imagination is the only limit.
