Over the next 10 days, there will be many changes in the climate, the environment, and the civilizations.

A 10-day LEH-LADAKH itinerary

Day 2:

Manali on Tuesday

Shop in local markets to take advantage of the day’s flexibility to indulge in leisurely activities.

Day 3:

Jispa – Manali

We will travel to Jispa, 140 kilometers from Manali, this morning. By the time we reach Rohtang Pass (3,978 m), you will be astounded by the magnificence of the Himalayas. As you bike through a stunning valley of thick vegetation, you will enjoy the most exquisite biking experience. After crossing the first pass, we’ll continue riding beside the Chandra River till reaching Jispa in the late afternoon (3,200m). We’ll stay the night and have a campfire here.

Furthermore, it is advised that you stay in Jispa since this will let your body adjust to the steadily rising altitude.

Day 4:

Jispa – Sarchu

The next morning, with fully charged cars, we headed off towards Baralacha Pass (4900m). Baralacha La, a high mountain pass in the Zanskar Range, is often always covered with snow. We’ll get to Sarchu that evening before sunset (4300m). Sarchu is a sizable plateau with a breathtaking landscape like Mars. Cliffs that resemble sand castles and have a structure similar to a needle will be visible. Tomorrow will be a big day, so don’t forget to get to bed early.

Day 5:

Sarchu – Leh

Today will be a historic day for all of us as we cross three mountains, including the second-highest pass in the world. We get in the car as soon as the sun comes up. The Nakila and Lachungla Passes are reached by ascending through the 21 hairpin turn of the Gata Loop. Afternoon refreshments and lunch will be served at Pang. Before climbing to Tanglang La Pass, the second-highest motorable road pass in the world at 5328 meters, we will also view 50 kilometers of flatlands. Get ready to capture some breathtaking images, since the area resembles a football field that God created especially for yetis. We’ll be in Leh by nightfall (3500m). After such a challenging day.

Day 6:

Leh Local Sightseeing

Use today to unwind, discover, and enjoy Leh. We’ll go to the surrounding monasteries and the Shanti Stupa. The Shanti Stup is beyond description in terms of its majesty and splendor. Shanti Stupa’s height allows us to see Leh Ladakh’s whole countryside. You may wander around Leh’s crowded bazaar at night.

Day 7:

Leh to Nubra

Our first task today is to go to the Khardungla Pass (5359m), which is 40 kilometers from Leh and is the highest motorable pass in the world. After that, we’ll enter the Nubra Valley. We’ll stay in the high-elevation desert region.

Day 8:

Nubra to Pangong

Early in the morning, we will go to Pangong Lake. We’ll continue to journey together on the Agham Shyok Road until we reach the Shyok River. On the route, we might need to cross several large bodies of water.

Day 9:

Pangong to Leh

The most beautiful sunrise of your life will make you feel extremely blessed. The sharpest elevation and numerous water torrents of Changla Pass make it extremely difficult to cross. Off-road driving skills may be put to the test. In Leh, we’ll travel there in the evening. Do not forget to get to bed early since tomorrow we will travel the largest distance of the trip to arrive home.

Day 10:

Jispa to Leh

In the early morning, we’ll move for the Leh-Manali route. Because it will take 8 to 10 hours, the travel we must make today will be the longest. Riding close to friends in a long line is extremely enjoyable when the view is like this. We could take advantage of a bonfire and music when we get to Jispa in the evening to celebrate our excursion.
